Mackenzie Farmer is an independent stylist at the salon collective Stranded Chicago.

Mackenzie is thrilled to be working alongside her fellow boss babes, supporting each other and gaining knowledge in a thriving, women-led industry. Even though Mackenzie does it all, there’s a special place in her heart for making everyone’s blonde dreams come true. She’s been blonde for as long as she can remember because it makes her feel like she can take on the world, and she wants to provide that feeling to everyone she styles. She’s also current on all the latest techniques to make her clients’ hair look and feel amazing. Mackenzie also loves talking about her fur babies, Winston the Pug and Juno the Frenchie/Pug, as much as she loves talking about obscure bands from her days studying music business.
